In the first picture you see me at Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park in British Columbia.

Me at some Canadian canyon, probably Maligne Canyon in Jasper National Park in Alberta.

On these pictures you can see Monja (my girlfriend) and me. On the first one we're in the TeePee-room at the Glacier Gateway Inn in Cut Bank (Montana). They set up a TeePee in the basement with a double bed in it. The second picture was taken at the famous Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, the portrayed presidents (from left to right) are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

The next picture of the both of us was taken in the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympia National Park in Washington.

In the following picture you can see Astrid (our travel companion) and me. We were supposed to travel as a foursome with Astrid's boyfriend, Leron, but their relationship broke up around 2 months before our vacation started.

This was taken at the Shoshone Ice Caves in Idaho, by an American lady who thought we were a couple.

This was taken at the Capilano Suspension Bridge in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Here we are in front of the fountain at Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island, also in British Columbia, Canada.

We look just like a couple in love. Don't we? (Btw we're not !!!)

We saw a lot a beautiful waterfalls during our trip, so many that at one point we got a bit bored by them. Here are 2 examples on the left we have a waterfall at the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon and on the right we have Spahats Falls near Wells Gray Provincial Park in BC, Canada.

A highlight of our journey was the visit of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. The next 7 pictures were all taken there.

These pictures were taken in the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River.

This buffalo (bison) was resting next to a parking lot at a viewpoint of the canyon.

Ain't he horny? (and I don't mean Astrid or me!!!)

We saw more animals like bears (those pictures are to vague), moose, elk, coyotes and a lot of chipmunks.

This one we illegally fed some cookies at Glacier National Park, Montana.

This elk was standing beside the road in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada.

Here we are back in The Netherlands at Schiphol Airport near Amsterdam.

We don't even look that bad after getting up in the middle of the night and about 20 hours of travelling.

Both these pictures were taken in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. On the first you see a geyser basin and on the second you see a herd of Buffalo's (bison) grazing.

In the picture on the left you see me standing on the edge of a canyon in the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota, in the middle you see Astrid and Monja in a lavatunnel/cave in Craters Of The Moon National Volcanic Monument in Idaho and on the right you see the Shoshone Falls near the city with the same name, also in Idaho, USA.

These pictures were all taken in Canada. On the left you see the famous Helmcken Falls in Wells Gray Provincial Park, British Columbia, in the middle it's Peyto Lake in Jasper National Park, Alberta and on the right we have Lake Moraine in Banff National Park, also in Alberta.

In these pictures you see on the left the volcano Mount St. Helens in Washington, in the middle Mount Robson the highest peak in the Canadian Rocky Mountains and on the right St.Mary's Lake in Glacier National Park in Montana.
